Hey y’all! Okay sorry no. I tried. Hey guys! My name is Kimmie and I’m a division I softball player living in the kind of town you only know exists if you’re from there. Coming from a city like Las Vegas you can only imagine the culture shock I went through when I arrived last year, and if you can’t it’s your lucky day because I’m about to walk you through it.
I’m here to talk about all the differences between little ole’ Thibodaux, Louisiana, population 14,565 and Las Vegas, Nevada, population 2,791,828. From my recently discovered love for crawfish to the way I giggle when directions involve “going down the bayou” my blog is intended to give an outsider’s perspective to the way of life around here.
You’ll soon find out my life revolves around balls. But I’m going to need for you to get your mind halfway out the gutter for this one because the balls I’m talking about are those required to take on a 25 hour drive through the middle of no where at 18 years old by yourself.
Stay tuned, it’s going to be a wild ride.
